SWEDESD facilitates EduBalt workshop

This week, SWEDESD participates in the EduBalt project by facilitating a workshop at the University of Latvia. EduBalt is a collaboration between the Baltic University Program (BUP) and SWEDESD, funded by the Swedish Institute, to develop the capacity of teacher educators and teacher institutions in Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania.

The EduBalt project has been designed to initiate the implementation of the UNESCO Global Action Programme on ESD in the three Baltic States, and to support teacher education in responding to the Sustainable Development Goals.

The aim of the workshop that is taking place from the 2th to 4th of October, is to facilitate a dialogue between and among teacher educators in the region, and to support participants in monitoring and evaluating their Change Projects as well as outlining an action plan for scaling. The emphasis will be on how each institution is using the Change Project Approach as a value creation exercise to build their ESD story of learning and change.
