BONUS MIRACLE Baltic Sea Region workshop in Uppsala

SWEDESD, together with partners, will host the Baltic Sea Region Workshop at Uppsala University on 28 November 2017 as part of the BONUS MIRACLE project.

BONUS MIRACLE is a transdisciplinary project where decision-makers, stakeholder groups and researchers from four case areas in Latvia, Poland, Sweden, and Germany collaborate in a social learning process to identify new configurations for governance to reduce nutrient enrichment and flood risks in the Baltic Sea region.

The workshop in Uppsala will invite researchers and stakeholders who have strong interests and expertise within water governance with the aim to enable co-learning to bring about desirable changes in the Baltic Sea Region water governance domain. It will build on lessons and key insights from the four case areas to support deliberations over governance configurations that can foster multiple benefits in local contexts while addressing nutrient emissions to the Baltic Sea.

The workshop will be followed by an advisory group meeting.
