Workshop on Transformative Knowledge in Argentina

SWEDESD participates in a Transformative Knowledge Workshop in Buenos Aires, Argentina from 26 to 30 November 2017. The workshop is part of the T-Learning research project with the aim to initiate, frame, and investigate expansive, transgressive approaches to learning.

The “Transgressive Learning in Times of Climate Change” (T-learning) project is one of three transformative knowledge networks funded under the International Social Sciences Council (ISSC) ”Transformations to Sustainability” programme.

The fourth annual Transformative Knowledge Workshop held this week is co-hosted by the Centro de Investigaciones para la Transformación (CENIT) and the National University of San Martín (UNSAM) in Buenos Aires. During four days, 16 members of the three networks gather to deepen the knowledge exchange and integration of knowledge across countries, projects and cases, particularly on methods for transdisciplinary research for transformation.

SWEDESD participated as one of nine consortium partners who have agreed to establish an international Transformative Knowledge Network (TKN) and implement the T-Learning project. The Swedish case study focuses on eco-schools (Green Flag in Swedish) in Sweden.
